Property of the Epilogue
Thanks to its anti-inflammatory action, the epilobium intervenes in the treatment of benign hyperplasia of the prostate and, in general, the urinary system works. Furthermore, one of the active ingredients of the epilobium, myricetol-3-0-beta-D-glucuronide, has the particularity of inhibiting the release of prostaglandins.
Necessary to contain tannins, this plant can also fight infections and reduce bleeding, particularly in cases of excessively abundant menstrual cycle. These components also require minor secretions in excess, to relax damaged soft and repaired tissues, from which the autonomy of the epilobium in diseases comes from diarrhea and skin irritation (including eczema).
The epilobium owes its anti-inflammatory properties thanks to the presence of a high number of flavonoids in its composition.
