Creatine + Quality ExtraGold 100 g
Dietary supplement creatine monohydrate (Creapure).
Creatine is a naturally occurring substance in the human body. It 'located mainly in skeletal muscle (95%), while a small portion is located in the heart and brain. These bodies, however, are not capable of producing creatine: their requirements (2 grams per day in normal conditions) is covered in part by synthesis in the liver (1 g) and partly by the creatine content in foodstuffs based carnea (the creatine is virtually absent in plants). Creatine taken orally passes quickly into the bloodstream and then into the muscles. A muscular functions of creatine are many: 1) restore promptly (as phosphocreatine) energy reserves used during physical activity, 2) facilitate the transport and distribution of energy, 3) moderately stimulate protein synthesis. These properties are enhanced by increased levels of creatine in the muscles obtained taking creatine regularly for longer or shorter periods. In the creatine monohydrate to each molecule of creatine is associated with a molecule of water (water of crystallization). Our decision to commercialize creatine monohydrate has been guided by a scientific rationale: first, the creatine monohydrate is one of the creatine on the market, the one with the highest percentage of pure creatine (for example, if 5 g of creatine monohydrate are 4.4 grams of creatine creatine citrate in the base we find only 2 grams). One of the criticisms of creatine monohydrate about possible minor assimilation. It 'a criticism, this, totally unfounded, once dissolved in water, creatine, whatever type it is, see separate creatine base from other molecules that are next to, in terms of uptake by the muscle, creatine is only base that is assimilated. Furthermore, compared to other creatine, creatine monohydrate was the first to be introduced on the market and therefore the one on which there is a quantity higher, therefore more reliable, of clinical studies.
