In the human organism, the proteins have a function mainly plastic / structural, while from an energy point of view, under normal physiological conditions, have negligible importance. Protein provides the majority of the "building blocks" (amino acids) with which we are made and become natural energy substrates only under very special conditions (eg, starvation). It 'well known that the rate of absorption of amino acids and small peptides in the gastrointestinal tract differs substantially depending on the type of protein from which they derive. The whey proteins of the milk have a residence time in the stomach relatively short and enter faster than the casein in the small intestine. This is the basis for better absorption and digestibility of these proteins, which results in a considerable increase in intake of amino acids in the blood in less than an hour after ingestion.
The ease of digestion and absorption of proteins is much more marked when the preparation technique is based on the so-called "ion exchange". This technique of extraction and isolation seems to preserve certain types of peptide bond (the chemical bond that binds the amino acids between them to form a protein). The final net result is a greater bioavailability of di-peptides and tri-peptides as that formed by glutamine and by two cysteine molecules, to which are ascribed important properties of anabolic agent. This sustained "anabolism" would optimize the use of endogenous proteins and reduce proteolysis. Serum proteins are then recognized a 'anabolic action on protein synthesis, especially in the muscles. The increase in blood amino acids with the whey protein is physiologically important if it occurs during the interval of time ranging from 1 to 2 hours after training. Period which is maximal muscle protein synthesis in athletes, even for the physiological release of anabolic hormones (eg GH).

MODE OF RECRUITMENT AND DOSAGE:
Dissolve 3 scoops (corresponding to 30 g of product) in 80-100 ml of water or low-fat milk.
From 1 g per kg of body weight in endurance sports up to 1.7 g per kg body weight in power sports.
